After having a yummy dinner, grilled chicken salad, I did my workout. Today, along with my usual walking on the treadmill, I figured I would try running. Now, I haven't ran in probably about a year and I am, by no means, a runner. I logged only 5 minutes, but it's a start. I had to stop because I had to help my daughter with her homework. But I am so happy that I was able to do it and not collapse!! I have been taking baby steps back from my back injury and it seems that it has been the right thing to do. My back is feeling great and the only pain I'm feeling is the good pain from working out. I weigh in tomorrow so I hope I have some good results. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
