Walked 1 mile yesterday and 2 miles today with a Leslie Sansone DVD.

I must exercise in the morning because I am too tired when I get home from work and don't have the energy to do much of anything. So that worked for me today.

I feel so depressed right now, and I want to eat sweets - cake and candy. Instead I will have a sugar free jello pudding.

I keep telling myself that today is only Day 2, and I surely can't fall off the wagon already, and I had a successful start to the day, exercising before work.

    Jo - what a lot of mileage there in a couple of days - well done! emoticon Getting that out of the way before work was a very wise idea, too. Sounds like a more easily doable pattern to adopt... I think you've done EXTREMELY well, plus you're going off to work - after what you've been through, these alone are great accomplishments. Your eating sounds wise, too. When I'm sad or depressed, I usually crave sweets. The sugar-free pudding's a great - and satisfying - idea. Also, there's a kind of Fudgsicle - either the sugar-free or fat-free version - that's only 40 cal. per pop, and they taste very rich and creamy. Skinny Cow ice-cream sandwiches are, I think, around 140 calories (?) and are also very satisfying. I always keep a bag of Werther's sugar-free candies on hand. They've only got 8 calories apiece and last a while. I like the bag with the coffee, plain, and mint caramel flavors.

    The sadness you feel will probably come and go; I remember it as something that could strike out of the blue and then later vanish mysteriously (and I'd be so grateful for those times!) emoticon - Susan

    I used to use those dvds, might try them again. Loved her! I had a lot of success with those. I hope your mood picks up!
