It is the end of April and time to look back at the month that just past.
I am working out as much as possible and might be over training a little - or at least I am feeling very tired. I have been on my Spring challenge workout schedule for the last two weeks: running 3 times a week (7km /9km /11km) and doing 5-6 P90X2 workouts a week.
I am enjoying it and will go back to that schedule but only after a few days of rest. I am having a very important singing event at the end of this week and need to be fresh. I will cut back on the workouts starting from Wednesday Mai 1 to give my body time to recover and then start again next Monday after the recital.
Did I reach my April goals? More or less, yes!
Fitness: 90% done
Very Good - I did the 14km run, did the DVD workouts from P90X2, but did not do all my ST sessions in addition.
Food: 50% done
I did not stay at around 30% fat intake/day. I am always around 35%-40%. It is mostly good fats, but still too much. I am back to 2 pounds over goal weight and continued to prepare healthy snacks and stay in my calorie range (1800-1900).
1. Positive thinking: yes, I said my positive formulas, I finished the concert preparation and did some serious advertisement for it. I started working on the seminar paper for the leadership further education at school. Everything went by plan.
I am loosing my bikini body in the kitchen - that's for sure.
I am working my butt off getting stronger by the day. But then I eat too much and my body is not really changing. I will see what the plan is going to be for May.
I think I am having problems motivating myself to restrict my food consumption to reach that bikini body. I like to eat and already look good in cloths...why do I need to push myself even more?
Well... because once in my life I want to look good in a bikini!
So GO - kick your butt and reach that goal!
