Today I calculated what I would weigh if I lost 5% of my body weight and I thought...I would be very excited if I got down to that weight! So that has gotten me very motivated. The activities we've been given so far for this challenge have really got me thinking and feel will help set me up for success with this challenge.
I planned as many meals as I could for the week and assembling my lunch was never easier. I liked it so much that this Sunday I will be planning every meal for the week! This way I can just be on auto pilot on the weekdays and thinking if there is prep that needs to be done and I have time that maybe some of that should be knocked out then too.
I did another activity where I came up with my motivational quotes and that has also been very helpful. On the way to work, I reminded myself I can do anything I set my mind to. When my tummy growled, I told myself, "Nothing tastes as good as being healthy will feel." And to motivate me to do my mini workouts I just play Pink - Try in my head. That song just make me want to get up and move!
I can't wait to see what else they have us do in preparation, but I'm so psyched. I'm packing my bags and can't wait to jet to the airport.
