WEll, things were much calmer over the past few days. It's been foggy, drizzly and rainy here for all that time too. I did just go out for a walk, and the fog is so heavy, you can barely see 2 blocks when you are walking. But, I didn't get too wet, and my body sure needed the walk.
So, last week I saw 199 on the scale again. I remember last year, when I finally hit it coming down, and it was exciting and I was ecstatic. But, going back up, and seeing it again, is really bad news. I have stayed under that dreaded 200 since early last summer. A big accomplishment. I even saw 182 on the scale at one point. But, here I am again, losing control and going back up. Not Good... I read SP's Diet Rage article today, anyone else check it out? Right on the money..
Anyway, though we planned on starting the 17 Day Diet on May 1. discussion on the weekend resulted in myself and Eshara from SP starting it today, may as well, it's a Monday. I was lucky enough to find the book at Value Village for $5 a few weeks ago. So, as always I get off to a great start. I had already started making up my portion sized veggie bags about 2 weeks ago, but today added the rest of the details (Note, don't slice cucumbers into your veggie bags to last up to a week, they don't last!) grape tomatoes, daikon, turnip, peppers, turnip all work really well though.
Breakfast - coffee, green tea, lemon juice, scrambled egg creations, onions, mushrooms, apple
Lunch - green tea, veggie bag, can of kippers, yogurt and 5 cal jello, orange
Supper - chicken, (may make soup) broccoli, tabbouleh
Snack - yogurt
17 min. of exercise - walk
(dh just found the pump to blow up my exercise ball, will that ever feel good on my back!!!)
