Pants! One size down!!

Monday, April 29, 2013

Yay! Celebration time.
As I've been loosing inches - it's been harder to get dressed in the morning. Even though I have saved all of my pants on the way to my highest weight - they don't stair step with my body perfectly.
So there have been loose pants days.. and tight pants days.
But today is the day I'm comfortably wearing a pair of NY and Company size 16s.
I remember wearing these pants to work 4 years ago before I discovered Lane Bryant and the world of Ws.
I'm so happy to have this little victory - and when I get home I'm going to dig up all of my size 14s to display. I have lots of 14s and I'm really thrilled at the prospect of rediscovering wardrobe.

I had my final dress fitting this weekend. The seamstress was so kind and supportive. Last July I had her fit me for a size 22 dress and yesterday made the final adjustments for a size 16.

I hope that I'm able to stay as focused after the wedding. My next goal is to get as healthy as possible before we try for a baby.

There was so much blog support for my 30 pounds lost photos! I would love to do another front and back shot at 50 or 60 pounds down! At that point I'll be close to moving from obese to overweight!
Less then 2 weeks from the wedding day now. I might be sporadic in that time. But I'll make sure to post some wedding photos when I resurface!

Spark on!!

I'm new to this SparkTeam and really found reading your blog so very inspiring. I, too, have kept the old clothes in hopes that I will one day be able to wear them again. Congrats!

As long as your goals go beyond the wedding, you'll stick with them. That's not something to hope for, it;s just part of the plan for a long, happy, healthy life.

I'm positive you'll keep going on this healthy trend after things settle down. The best thing you can do for both your health AND your fertility is to eat well and get fit.
