We have 2 days left of the challenge and I am so excited! 5 pounds down for me so far!
How are you going?

I have a lot of deadlines today, so forgive the brevity of this post!

I have one community newsletter piece that was due in today, just sent it off.
I have 5 peices to edit and send off to the editor. I have sent in one, working on the other 4 now!
AND I have 5 more pieces to write!

So...I hope to get it all done today.
REMEMBER ladies that tomorrow is day 30 and that means weigh and measure day!

update: The Plan is still going well, I tested steak yesterday, passed, and now on to testing Rye today! yes I know I did day 6 before day 5 but life happened and I had to adjust! It was a busy weekend! Good news is I managed to make the broccoli soup!

    Looking forward to reading the blog later today. I'm excited because I'm down 2 lbs this morning. I'm still feeling a bit under the weather, but I feel good. Gotta look at my calories again though... beginning to think I'm actually not getting quite enough right now. Will really track carefully for a couple of days and see if anything appears out of the ordinary. So far keeping all aspects in check though. Breakfast of some sort by 10:00 - although not biggest meal of the day. No cola - I am really so proud of this one. No white carbs (other than filler in products because I just wasn't being that careful), only one (although supersized) black caffeinated tea a day.

I've learned to love green smoothies, pink smoothies, orange smoothies, white smoothies and beige smoothies all with ingredients that are healthy, and within caloric range, as well as within sugar and fat range. Still learning how to ensure I get enough good protein when I need it. I've learned how to add new foods to my meals and even my family has embraced many of the changes even though I never asked them too. I've increased my water intake and decreased my sugar intake dramatically. True "junk" food rarely passes my lips these days although I know that I will be treating myself once in awhile. I also know what I need to do to break a habit - keep the problem out of the house at least for 30 or more days; replace it with something else that is actually a good habit worth forming and keeping, and is one I just may grow to like or even love. I've also learned not to beat myself up - because it's counter productive. If it worked I'd go for it, but it doesn't - so why waste my energy. I've also learned not to let others beat me up - also counterproductive.

Enjoy the broccoli soup, it's my favorite :)
I had steak too yesterday, down 0.2 to 135.2 - nearly back at goal!
April has been all over the place and I am glad I maintained around goal - it could have been ugly with a trip, party and lots of outings...

My weight is probably going to be a disaster - May will be back to the no-cheese strategy, I think, as I reckon it's highly likely that this was my downfall, together with no tracking
I'm quite happy with my exercise even though I've decided to do only one class a day a couple of times - the body doth protest!
