WHAT A FRIEND!
There is only one true friend who will be with us in thick and thin. He is the person who knows all about us. He knows what we need. He will never leave nor forsake us. He knows what true friendship is. What a friend we have in Jesus! He will take on our sorrow and sin and bear those for us. He died for us. He has and will do things for us that no other friend is willing to do or can do. Let’s be sure we are appreciative of the friendship we have with Jesus and we are striving to be a friend to others like He is to us.
James 2:23 “And so it happened just as the Scriptures say: ‘Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.’ He was even called the friend of God.“ (NLT)
Dear Lord, we are so appreciative of the fact You are our friend. We know that because of our faith and hope in You in all things that You will never, never, never leave nor forsake us. We know our human friends are human. They mess up just as we do. We can put our hope in them but we will be disappointed. What a friend we have in You! We have faith in You today. We believe in You today. We put our hope in You today. Thank You for being a Friend. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
We have a Friend like no other. We call Him Jesus.
God wants to be our friend. We can choose today to allow Him in our lives so we can have peace.
We have a friend in God. He is with us right now and ready to listen and to help.
A friend is one who will do whatever he can to help. God sent His son and gave up His son’s life to save us. He is our eternal Friend whom we can always count on. No matter what.
Romans 5:10 “For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son.” (NLT)
