today I accidentally discovered a way of making vegetables taste really good.
veggies in question: leek and carrots
cook the leek until soft, add carrots (don't let them cook too long)
now I usually add some crème fraiche or light cream, but I didn't have any,
all that was there was a cheese mix, half and half of gorgonzola and cream cheese.
a tablespoon of that mixed in with the veggies, plus some rice, and voila, lunch!
the cheese mix was left over from baking it on bread, baguette tastes best but dark bread works just as well. try it... you'll live off of it.
