I have commit to challenge myself to better myself for health and to be fit.
The Spring to Summer 5% challenge will start sometime in May. And they just started doing Pre-Activity. I like this count down type of activity that will puts me ready for the challenge. And by doing this Pre-activity also make me excite up coming challenge and hold me accountable. To me, I feels like lining up the start line of the important life event. I like to feel good sense of tension. I imagine myself as a runner of Marathon, who is waiting for the sound of blank gun shot to be resound for start.
**Activity 1 is to reinforce "Win today check list." Activity 2 is to reinforce Win "tomorrow check list." How cool is that!? It was so nice to provided us for download a check list, if we does not have our own. And The question asked was... " Do you already have a daily routine that includes your fitness and well being? " My answer to this is, yes ! I do have a daily routine so far is working for me. I normally do my cardio work out in the morning 6 days a week. I walk on my treadmill about an hour for 3-4 miles. Then three time a week I go to gym and use their ST Machine.
**Activity 3 is to share your own Motivational Quotes/Mantras. Prepare myself for success by having the words that will move me to action and keep me on track for the 8 Weeks of the 5% Challenge.
I do have my own favorite motivational quotes that I've been using as my mantras since I started my health journey about 15 month ago. I have couple of them I always go back and re-read and motivate myself. Some of them are in my SP page.
"A year from now, you will wish you had started today,,!!
"I need to remember how important that I am making progress !!
And will reach my goal.
" Do something today that your future self will thank you for."
" Be positive, and believe in yourself. " You are what you repeatedly do."
