Soggy but Satisfying Sunday 4/28/13

emoticon We had some very heavy rain today in the RGV. Our rain gauge registered 2 1/2 inches! It was really needed so no complaints here! It came down so fast and hard that our yard was a lake for awhile. The whole park was flooded but once the rain stopped it seeped into the parched ground. The birds were very happy and so was I.

emoticon I am still refocusing on my plan. Today I decided to give my poor sleep habits a closer look. I have been doing a little better but I really haven't done the work recommended.
So my goal is to revisit the suggestions for week 1 of the better sleep challenge. I know it will be good for my blood sugar, my weight, and my well-being.

Tomorrow I am going to revise my strength training plan so it is more efficient. emoticon

I also plan to do 30 minutes of cardio at least 3 times this week. emoticon

So my Sunday was quite satisfying in many ways and I am excited about focusing anew on my journey to good health. emoticon

    Sounds good! I'm going to work on getting to bed earlier and decided that I need to strength train my upper body. Especially the shoulders. Wish they had free weights in the emoticons. That's what I am going to use.
