PAIN, PAIN GO AWAY

Sunday, April 28, 2013

Last night in the middle of the night I woke with terrible pain in my knee. emoticonI thought I will sleep and in the morning I will be well. I wasn't.
Even with the emoticon I had pain but now after calling upon the Lord and having my pastor pray for me I am much better.

I didn't get to go to church emoticon but maybe good since we had heavy thunderstorms. All things work together for good to those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose.

I watched 3 church programs on TV then watched our church live on the computer so I was in church after all. emoticon

Some say the humidity caused the pain. What do you think? emoticon

It is thundering again so will get off of here soon.

Irene

My Mom fell and broke her knee and had surgery. Years later she had a knee replacement. No matter which the weather would make it ache. Sorry you are having bad weather and more pain!

    SORRY TO HEAR THAT, IRENE.
I JUST ASKED DH IF HE HAS PAIN WHEN A STORM IS COMING ON AND HE SAID -NO.
SO MAYBE YOU BETTER CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR OR THERAPIST IF IT CONTINUES.
A LITTLE HELP FROM ABOVE NEVER HURT EITHER :)
HUGS, PAT

Sorry to hear about the pain in your knee Irene. Right after I had knee surgery every time it would rain it would hurt. And even now after 5 months, my knee doesn't hurt when it rains but it sure makes my legs ache so bad! I can tell when the rain is coming because my legs start to ache. It will get better, just takes time. Take a pain pill and sometimes heat helps. Probably not good to put heat on your new knee quite yet unless the Dr. tells you it's okay. Rubbing it might help also. Hope you feel better and the rain ends. It rained in Georgia this weekend and I was hurting so I know how you feel.

Sorry to hear you are experiencing pain. I'm glad prayer helped you, and that you were able to watch Church services from home. I don't know about the weather, but I would definitely ask the PT or Dr. emoticon

I'm glad you got pain relief after prayer. Your knee will eventually be without pain. Mine feels tight sometimes, stiff but no real pain. Of course you might feel arthritis pain in your bad knee....the one that is not yet operated!! My PT kept telling me that my once broken knee leg was no longer "bad". I'm glad you were able to watch your own church service on the computer. Mine is also on computer but we are not supposed to watch streaming video with our slow internet system so I can not watch it here.

I am sorry to hear you were in such pain. So glad prayer helped. God is good. I too suffer from pain before rainy weather. I do think humidity or low pressure has an effect on our pain. Hope you had a good day in spite of the pain.

Glad you got some relief....I think the pain tends to come and go....could be weather but moreso I'd think that it's just the 'nature of the beast' of having surgery. Glad prayer helped and how cool you could watch your church on the computer!!

A lot of people do say that their pain is worse shortly before rainy weather. I have figured out it isn't so much the rain as the change in air pressure.
