I'm writing this from Myrtle Beach - arrived here on Friday. I'm staying on track as much as I can, oh who am I kidding!!! I'm staying connected so I don't go waaaay overboard! LOL... So far since arriving I've walked the boardwalk (2.52 miles) twice, went shopping for 3 hours - figured I should have had my pedometer on but didn't, but at least a couple more miles there.
Eating really hasn't been that bad. I brought my regular breakfast and bought salad stuff for lunches. Dinner last night was at a Japanese rest. I ate my "doggie bag" tonight... chicken, steak and shrimp. I know the rice is high in calories and I don't want to know the sodium count... but again, I'm on vacation... I haven't gone for the "sweets" or even too many drinks - first night did enjoy a Long Island Ice Tea, and today had a "Shipwrecked" at Margeritaville (coconut rum and oj and other ingredients)...
I had planned on "tracking" everything, but its just too much work trying to find "like" products and/or even nutritional info on websites etc. I've decided to take a vacation from tracking as well.
Enjoying the beach and food and trying not to complain too much about the weather - cool, low 70's and overcast most of the day - calling for T-storms the rest of the week. But hey, a bad week at the beach is better than a good week at work!!!! (and really, its not bad at all!!!)
