Woohoo...I'm below 250 pounds this morning! When i get to 240, my reward will be a drive to Jasper to do yoga with a friend.
I just returned from church. emoticon
I stacked my wood yesterday. Near the bottom of the pile I saw a bundle of grass and that should have alerted me that a small critter was nest building. A few moments later, a mouse ran out from a piece of wood I lifted, startling me and I let out a shriek!
This past Easter, I gave up chocolate during Lent. I was one that could devour 3 , even 4 chocolate bars at a time because I love it; even a box of turtles. That deprivation has been a good one. I no longer buy chocolate. I will have a piece and an occasional dessert with chocolate now, it is no longer one of my food groups.
Being an empty-nester at this time means that I rarely watch tv. I used to get hungry from seeing the fast food commercials all the time.
Today i plan to do some Sweatin' aerobics and make some crafts...nourish my inner artist and my muscles.

    ahhhhh Jasper! What great motivation and a GREAT reward!
Jasper, Banff, Canmore, Kananaskis.....all my getaway places..beautiful and relaxing and I can just imagine doing Yoga there!

If you get a chance and haven't there is a path on the side of the mountain at Johnstone Creek Canyon to a waterfall, it's beautiful and a nice walk!

    Your blog made me smile so much! If I ever found a mouse near me I'd let out a shriek too!!! (luckily this hasn't happened yet lol) I know what you mean about watching tv and how the ads can make you "feel" hungry but I am glad you have decided to do other activities instead! Currently that is my problem...working full time and going to school full time makes me want to come home and do nothing which includes watching the boob tube. I hope you have a great rest of the week!!!! emoticon

    Congrats! It's great that you broke the 250 barrier! And saying "no" to chocolate -- WOW. (I dreamed of Hershey's kisses last night -- that was weird). Keep up the good work. (I wonder how many calories a "shriek" burns?)

    Yes, the chocolate trap is a nasty one - I have stopped buying and when someone gives me a choccy present, I take it to work and share it around - less calories for me!
