. . . . is on sale, regularly $16.99, for just $1.99 ending April 29. And yup, that's tomorrow!!
It's terrific!! The bird part may even be better in some ways than birdjam (which cost me a whack more) and waaaaaay easier to download. No syncing nonsense: no separate CD ripping for the birdsongs: multiple images of each bird instead of just one: multiple birdsong sound tracks for each bird giving a fuller sense of the possible conversations: phenom advanced search techniques including flight patterns! Wow!! And: the butterflies part of the app includes all the standard butterflies (Monarch and swallowtails and fritillaries) plus moths such as Luna and Cecropia and Isabella (woolly bear)!
I'm schedule for my first game of golf of the season later today -- will definitely have my iPhone with the birding apps and wildflower app (Audobon, $1.99) along with me. Should enhance my own enjoyment (and make me totally exasperating of course to the other golfer: DH . . . but he's prepared to tolerate me I'm pretty sure).
Saw a yellow swallowtail last weekend in the maple sugar bush -- they're always very early.
My bald-headed cardinal has his full gleaming red crest again.
Bright yellow goldfinch on the feeder with plumage matching the daffodils . . .
What a glorious time of the year this is.
