Weigh in tomorrow

Sunday, April 28, 2013

So tomorrow is a big day for me. I have to meet with the wellness coordinator at our hospital and I have to have lost weight in order to get a 600 dollar discount on my insurance. Part of me thinks it's crap that this is required but what ever. I should show a weight loss. However, not all scales are created equal. We'll see. I lost 1.6 pounds this week. emoticon
I went on 2 big bike rides this week(20 miles each), and did yard work ALL day yesterday. Hours of strenuous manual labor. Every thing I own hurts. lol. I got up yesterday morning thinking we would pack up the bikes, a picnic lunch and head out. Unfortunately my DH had other plans. So we pulled weeds and mulched around shrubs, raked the yard, blah, blah, blah . You get the picture. We did have a nice campfire last night. Nothing better than that after a long days work. How was your week?
I want to fit in 60 miles on my bike this week. What's your goal?

Fingers crossed that you get some monetary proof that you are doing what it takes. That's not why we do this, but, hey, it would not hurt!!!

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. I agree that it's not fair that you have to lose weight to qualify for a discount. That's just counter-productive.
