more movies

Saturday, April 27, 2013

watched two movies Quartet with a bevy of British actors portraying over the hill entertainers in a senior residence (with all their problems like dementia, health, loss of talent and looks, and of course love). I liked it a lot and Maggie Smith might get an oscar nomination.
the other movie I watched was The Guilt Trip with Barbara Streisand and Seth Rogan. I don't like Seth (I don't know why, don't have a legitimate reason, but I don't), however in this movie he works out but I want Barb as MY mother she is awesome in this. I liked them both.
I still haven't downloaded my camera yet so I don't know if Sparks will be okay with my pics now

I have seen both movies. Maggie Smith is brilliant.
I went to see 'The Guilt Trip' last Monday. I love Barbara
in that and at first thought it a tad slow. But this reminds
me so much of my son's and my realtionship and got a
good laugh as I can relate to a lot of the themes.
I watched an oldie but gooie on TV yesterday "It happened
in Naples"/ I just love movies. Glad you enjoyed them too.
