Loving Life Day 110 April 27, 2013

Saturday, April 27, 2013

Today was a whirlwind day. Started out getting groceries, delivering groceries to my parents, walking to a Breast Cancer fund raiser with hubby, doing chores in the yard, then going to the casino with hubby and our daughter. Tomorrow will be another busy day. Going for a run in the morning, then household chores, and having the kids over for dinner. Sure wish weekends were longer, or that the weekend days had more hours in them then the weekdays!

Mantra:

I am the only one who can do this for myself.
I make the choice of what I put in my mouth and what I don't.
I make the choice to exercise or not daily
I make the choice to have a positive frame of mind
I make the choice to be healthy!


Goals for today:
~ read my mantra
~ Grocery shopping
~ 80 oz water
~ 10,000 steps
~ Enjoy time outside in the sunshine
~ find out how to use my twitter account! (still haven't gotten to this one yet!)
~ 15 flights of stairs
~ keep an open mind
~ journal every bite
~ weigh and measure food today
~ journal thoughts and feelings surrounding eating today
~ smile at least once an hour
~ learn something new and remember what I learned
~ eat a fruit or vegetable with every meal and as one snack today
~ focus on this lifestyle I have chosen for myself and don't sweat the small stuff

    I definitely could use more hours! Doesn't seem right that the work week is so much longer than the weekend.

    Great mantra!! I really have to remind myself that I make a decision everytime I put something in my mouth. Am I hungry? Do I really need to KEEP eating...lol! I love food and I know there has to be a way to truly enjoy food without doing so in an unhealthy way!
I think time in the sunshine is very important and there is some pretty good evidence to support that (Vitamin D)!!
Keep smiling...I think it burns more calories!!
