Day #304 - Doing the dang thang!!! Wogging who me?

Oh so proud of myself. I had a plan to go to the gym yesterday after work. But I got a call that my cousins father died and they weren't handling the news well. Sadly his family never contacted them and let them know he was sick, in the hospital or dying until afterwards. It's not like they live in another town he was 5-10 minutes away. But anywhoooo...
I decided to try and wog C25K on my treadmill and then walk to their house. Well I couldn't get into the C25K on the treadmill so I only did 10 minutes, stretched and walked to their house, which is about 20 minutes away. I sat with them a while and then I walked back home. A few blocks from the house I decided to jog to the next 2 corners, but that turned into a jog all the way to my yard about 4-5 corners!!!! Yaaayyy me.
Felt so inspired that I got dressed today and went out planning to do the C25K for the first 30 minutes and turn around and walk back home. I managed to do the week 1, day 1 program but I skipped the last two jogs. There's a total of 8 jogs. I just didn't have it in me. My entire walk was an hour!!!
I was talking to 2 co-workers yesterday and one had noticeably loss weight so I said tell me your secret. She said I started running. She's not a big girl but chubby and the other one is fit fitness guru. So they chatted with me and really encouraged me to not give up and try jogging. Both were in our defunct Biggest Loser Challenge as well. That little chat and words of "you can do it, give it a try". So I did.
I'm hoping to continue this routine a few days a week and get better at it. I still plan to utilize my gym. I know I need to change up my workout routine so that's what I'm trying to do. I'm almost at my 365 days - one year celebration so it's definitely time to change things up and get stronger and better. So that's it for today had to come blog this.
