Back in the Water for me

Just went to the gym and got in the pool, thinking there was an aquacise class at 11am, but alas it was at 9, so I did my own exercises and enjoyed the water and jogged in the water, swam, walked and all that I usually do when I get to the pool. Lovely feeling there, so I got 80 minutes of exercise and came home to lunch. Not a bad day~ so far~~~

    Aqua exercise is my primary means of deliberate movement -- I make up my own classes in my pool usually with disco tunes blasting away on the sundeck. It is such a great way to get an overall workout without straining joints. Plus, since I'm outside I'm getting my shot of Vitamin D while I'm at it!

  I am a runner so aquafit classes are like a soothing blanket for me! Love them when I can find them! Otherwise I do laps, of my own strokes and my own moves...

  That's what hubby does. He doesn't follow an exercise group.But he loves to swim. Me, I use the machines. emoticon emoticon
