I just started the 5K my way program today. I'm determined to run a 5K this summer. My community has a ton of them and they are all for good causes.
Week 1, Day 1: The walk was very easy. My stopwatch didn't work right for the first running part, so I think I ran 3 minutes instead of 1. The first 2 minutes were grueling, but the last minute I hit a stride. I almost kept going, but I didn't. I want to follow this program as written to see if it really works.
Tomorrow: Golfing 9 holes for my "Rest or cross-train" day. That counts for cross-training, right?
