It's been a few years since I used SparkPeople on a regular basis. Back then, it helped me lose six full inches off my waist alone, and I became much more athletic and healthy.
However, I made a career change and took a job that required me to be constantly available. I worked all the time and couldn't stick to any type of schedule; I ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the office and even slept there a few times. I couldn't even count on being free on weekends, and several times I went a whole month without a single day off--Saturday/Sunday included.
Needless to say, I fell off the wagon with my diet and workout schedule.
I finally decided to leave my job when they contacted me on my honeymoon. I was lucky to make a lateral move to a totally different field, and for the past month I've been working normal hours again. So, it's time to get back to SparkPeople and lose this weight (again).
I need to lose about 2.5 more inches off my waist. I'm already down 1.2 in the past 3 weeks! My weight is less important to me because I'm already at a healthy weight. I just want to look and feel better and be more fit.
I'm looking forward to doing this again with SparkPeople.
