wedding, baby shower, xmas and birthday gift

Saturday, April 27, 2013

So I have been posting that I was in the market for a running stroller. I had gone for a walk on Thursday, and I had a heck of a time. The visor didn't actually do the job, Sitting up or partially laying down the sun always landed on Anissa's face. I had to put a blanket over top to block the sun, and the wind kept blowing it off. It was ridiculous really. So my sister said she still owed me a xmas, birthday, wedding, and baby shower gift, so she ended up wiring me some money, thank you sissy!. One of the ones I was checking out on kijiji the price ended up going down, even better! So I went and picked it up before it was too late. It needed a bit of cleaning up and airing out, I didn't smell it while I was there, but really smelled it when I got home, the stale smoke. YUK! DH even noted that this one folds up smaller than the one we have. I like that the wheels actually come off for better storage, plus when the time comes we can get a toddler seat that will fit on it and it turns into a 2 kid stroller. It comes with a sunshade/mosquito net, and a foot muff for the colder weather. I am prepared to run, so I will be slowly easing into running soon! I miss it a lot!

Wow, good job, Robin! The stroller sounds great (minus the stale smoke smell :(

I'm sad we missed you at the Mall today... it was a Zoo in there!

I can tell you miss running so much! It will be nice to get back into it, eh? And hopefully will give B's mom less time to come for unexpected visits! LMAO
