My Reports for Fitness Minutes under My Trackers heading

Saturday, April 27, 2013

This is a whole new world for me!

I saw a chart for My Points since I began SP in Jan. 2008.

I had no idea there was a chart for that --and for many other things.

One thing I changed was related to the montly fitness minutes chart.
I have been wanting to hit 1000 minutes per month. But the numbers under the place where I record my water aerobic workouts did not seem right. I had the weekly minutes goal set wrong.

I had to set minutes per workout and how many times a week I worked out.
I wanted the total minutes for the month to be 1000.

I only have it set for the water aerobics. Some days have 2 classes. So I said 4 times a week at an average of 63 minutes a day.

Actually I try to do

Mon Wed Fri 45 min
Tue Thur 90 min

To get 1000 min per month I have to add some of my own exercise minutes to each class.

Hopefully now I can see exactly how close I am to my 1000 fitness minutes per month.

Thanks for the tip. I have a walking goal which I have never met. Turns out, if I only enter the minutes and walking, it does not track miles. The only way I can do it is to use the map this button. Not complaining, but I think I would've reached my 6 miles per week goal a long time ago if I knew how to track it! Learning something new every day.

  This is a great goal.

I still have to figure out how to do the custom stuff. Much of it confuses me. I asked around, and still didn't grasp it...

There are so many reports that you can look at to give you information. Play around with them. If you're tracking all your food and all your exercise every day there's a great report that shows the difference of how many caloires you're eating versus burning (it adds in your estimated BMR) to get a better idea of your calorie differential.

I use the reports when I think of it. I have a planner where I log my times and mileages. I write total minutes and total minutes for everyday so I can track them at a glance. We all need a daily reminder of where we are at! Good luck!
