Knee rehab

Saturday, April 27, 2013

I had a TKR on my left knee Feb 12, 2013. What a long and painful recovery. Had I known I,may not have done it. But it is really nice to have a straight knee I haven't had one in over 20 years. My back feels better and I am relearning to walk without a limp. I have finally lost 9 lbs along the way. I realized that because I was exercising so much I though it was Ok to eat bigger portions and the weight just stayed. With this surgery I have lost my appetite and now when I eat it is much smaller portions and I am ok with that even full. So I plan to continue and hopefully lose the last 8 lbs.
