So, while I'm staying with my parents it'll be easy for me to get out of a healthy eating habit- my mom eats small portions and a lot of salads which is great, but she doesn't really pay attention to the calories of things she's preparing. And there are always tons of sweets in this house. So I definitely need to really steel myself to refocus on a more Paleo-based diet and talk to my mom about it, since whenever she makes chicken or something it's breaded. I'm sure she'll be willing to just leave off the breading on pieces of me. Also, we never eat veggies so I'll have to start buying some of my own to keep in the freezer. I'm sure she'd buy them if I asked but I feel bad enough as it is, so if I can afford to do my own shopping I'd like to.
The other challenge is not being able to go to the gym. I'm sure in time I'll get a gym membership somewhere cheap (lots of places like Planet Fitness around this area) but right now that's not in my budget or really something feasible. I just haven't made use of all the time I've had to work out... which I need to start doing. Even if I'm not in the gym or in a house with any exercise equipment, I can do some stuff... so, that's going to be a focus for next week too.
As I'm writing this Spencer keeps calling me heavy! The little jerk. :)
