Spoke too soon..

I received an email at 12:15 inviting me for interview.

Did I mention I really want this job? I have been waiting for it to come up for years. Only three miles away (consider running to work?) , full time and in my area of expertise. And not teaching so wouldn't be stuck with academic year restrictions on hols etc. Money is also not bad.

They'd be silly not to have me.

So now some serious research and prep. I've got until the 8th May.

In the meantime...

Yesterday was ok with food. Really busy again at work so no opportunity to make any mistakes. When I got home I really, really, really wanted cheese on toast. I calculated it at about six hundred cals so decided not to!

So had stir fry. With the weird zero cal noodles I have. They are ok when I am really hungry and need to bulk out the plate but to be honest they don't do a lot for me, the texture is just a little strange.

Today is Saturday so I am off to class this morning. I have tutorials booked so not a particularly demanding morning. Then meeting up with a friend followed by home, housework (or dogwalk - depends) and a relaxing evening with plenty of pink wine...

Did I mention I am sooooooo excited about this interview? So excited indeed.

And of course if it doesn't work out then I am already working on plan b in order to get my life back into some sort of order.

Yeah I knew it would be ok. They would have been fools not to have asked you & hopefully the interview will just be a formality.
    Great news.

Good luck for the interview. Dress to impress, have a question prepared for when they say "is there anything you want to ask us", and don't forget you're also interviewing them.
