Breakfast time

Just realised I comment on other members blogs every day and haven't blogged myself in ages!
Just a quick one this morning. I'll do a more in depth one when I have more time - whenever that may be!
Does anyone else wake up in the morning hungry?
I get up at 6.20 and have breakfast at 6.30 and leave for work at 7.30.
I usually have one of the following - a bowl of Special K with summer fruits on, weetabix with drizzle of runny honey and dusting of cinnamon, porridge with honey, raisins and cinnamon or on weekends a slice of Weightwatchers bread with reduced sugar jam or a boiled egg with black tea.
People at work bring their breakfast cereals to work and have at 10 as they're not hungry till then.
I couldn't leave home in the morning without eating. Is it just me?
I don't go to bed starving. Usual the last thing I eat will be around 8.30. Maybe a low fat cracker with light Philadelphia for example. I'm usually in bed for 10.30.
Just curious what others feel like?

    I am one of those late eaters, I get up at 5 workout for an hour then leave for the office by 7. I usually start eating my breakfast at 7:30 (protein shake) then coffee (8 am) then greek yogurt (9 am) and finally a bit of fruit at 10. When i don't go in to the office I generally don't eat before 10 no matter what time I wake up.

    I often wake up hungry, and always eat breakfast! I am not the person who skips breakfast.

    I usually wake up hungry, too. My breakfasts are fairly boring, but purposeful. I make a bowl of hot cereal and toss in a little brown sugar if I'm REALLY hungry because it is so filling and nutritious. If I have time I fry an egg or make a vegetable omelet to eat with a slice of buttered toast. My "fun" breakfast is a slice of toast spread with spiced ginger preserves-delicious :) Irish breakfast tea + Earl Grey (yes, I put them together in the same enormous mug, then add milk and sugar-yum) or coffee is my 'must have' item in the morning!

Your breakfast choices sound so yummy-thanks for sharing! Maybe I'll try them, too :D

    People train themselves to not want breakfast by skipping it all the time. As babies and toddlers they woke up hungry, teens wake up hungry too but often sleep late and end up skipping. After skipping for years, people stop waking up hungry. But if they started eating breakfast every morning anyway, after while they would start waking hungry again.

    I am scale obsessive and the first thing I do is jump on the scale. Next I have my morning Yogurt. This is my way of starting off on a healthy morning. About a half hour later I then while have a bowl of cereal. I use to have late evening cravings, but have found out that starting the morning with yogurt and cereal sets up the day well and no hunger at night.

    I get up at 530a every weekday and I have to eat before I leave for work. I always have a bowl of multigrain cheerios and an english muffin with peanut butter and little nutella with a glass of milk. I never really ate breakfast before spark people but now I have to have it first thing in the morning because -yes, I am hungry and I want to start my day our right!
Good job on eating first thing so you don't overeat later when you are really hungry!
