So much for no complaining :)

Saturday, April 27, 2013

So I was planning on having a complete positive attitude but my first blog was all about my pain. Oops! emoticon Thanks, everyone for the helpful information!! I will be trying some stretches tomorrow and see if I can't get that pain gone. I had a good talk with my kids and they understand that Mommy's bed is off limits. I told them if they come climb in, I will promptly take them back to their own beds. They weren't happy but that's ok. Here's hoping tonight they can last in their beds.

I just finished a full week of this new change and would like to have my weigh in day on Sunday, my rest day from exercise. I'm nervous and excited! I've really worked hard this week on my exercising and tried to make good food choices. I've even got all my water for the day for the last couple days. That has been a HUGE challenge for me! emoticon I still am trying to get the right balance with my meals so I get all the nutrients I need. I've come so close a couple times. I guess I can just keep trying and hope for the best. I know I've been losing something. My clothes are fitting a little better. emoticon

Don't worry too much about that scale. It is a tool - but it is not the only tool. The only reason I say that is because we don't really always know what is going on with our bodies. We do, however, have to realize that we are doing a lot of things right. There have been times that I was doing everything wonderfully - and for some reason the scale would show I gained a pound - or didn't move.

Anyway - it's a good thing to measure progress - keep up what you are doing - I'm sure you are doing awesome!

I'm so glad you talked with your kids! Be prepared for lots of slips, taking a week or more of nice but firm insistence. Here's to your first night of sleeping without interruption! emoticon

Sounds like your first weigh-in will be really good. Don't you just LOVE that your clothes are looser?! emoticon
