So I got on the scale this morning and I've lost a few pounds. I walked at the gym once this week and ate well for the entire week. I'm going to take it up a notch next week. I really feel like I needed to ease back into things over the period of 2-3 weeks. I still feel so fragile and shaken and drained. I'm really paying attention to my body for maybe the first time, ever...and it feels so good.
I read a great quote tonight:
"Whenever I check my weight, I always subtract 7 pounds. I don't think a girl's boobs or brain should ever count against them."
