Saturday, April 27, 2013

I am so trying to decrease my sodas and adding more salt to my food...have a salt defienecy. Technically my sodas are what was keeping me alive since I dont like to eat salt because of the thyroid thing before it was taken out. Quit from day one...

I am exercising and weights alternating with my kettlebell weights too. i know my skin is sagging in the front...does it do that when you start losing? Im completely comfused...

Well I have to go to bed...I am hopefully going to get up to go to aunt sherie's house...

I am definielty frustrated and the stress could be gaining the weight too? help

Hang in there! When I started I was at 234 pounds and with a few simple life style changes I was losing weight like gangbusters. I started tracking my food intake and that was a real eye opener! I finally got down to 206 and everything came to a dead stop. Nothing I did moved me from 206 - smaller portions, more exercise, nothing seemed to work for over 2 months, I was pretty discouraged and started nibbling and gaining some weight back. But since I was determined to lose this weight I kept on pushing and finally this weekend I slipped under 200 pounds for the first time in decades (of course this morning I'm 201!). I don't know what started things back up, maybe less fat and more muscle, some kind of overall body realignment??? Patience and persistence worked for me.

Unhealthy at this seems better than gaining weight on my thyroid meds,

my thryoid meds have caused me a HUGE weight gain and no one knows how to help me fix it. I have given up all that is good in life and wonder if I should go back to unhealthy since I think my body rathers them than healthy items

I am sorry to hear that. But you have to hang in there and keep pushing. Track your food on Spark, and your exercise. Hit your target. In no time you will be right back on track. Don't give up!
