I got up extra early in order to do 65 minutes on the recumbent cycle before physical therapy. I was pleased that I rode 11.3 miles in 65 minutes at a resistance of 6 and a speed range of 10 - 11.8. I left the house at around 6:30a.m. and got to the gym and onto the bike at around 7:05a.m. Since my physical therapist has ramped up my workout routine, I decided that it would be best if I exercised before physical therapy. I also had to go and weigh in at Weight Watchers at about 10:30a.m.
After my weigh-in, I stopped at the store and purchased a portable dog kennel to use when our precious puppies go to the vet to get their first shots. (I'm sure they will take a dim view of that but it must be done!) I also purchased a 2 pound weight to use in my new "at home" physical therapy routine. I used it when I did my therapy exercises this evening. I sure hope I won't be sore tomorrow after such a vigorous workout in physical therapy.
