Banana Bread. I made some just the other day. And now it's all gone!
It was very yummy! But I'm very glad that I only made one loaf instead of the normal three that my recipe makes! It's very yummy, but it has enough sugar in it to kick off my cravings for munchies... Therefore, banana bread is going on my "only occasionally" treat list. But it was a much better option than another bag of snickers! So I'm considering it a winning situation.
I forgot to mention, but Monday night I went up to the Atlanta Shakespeare Tavern and watched the Tavern Apprentices perform several scenes in order to show what they have learned over the past year. My best friend performed as Cleopatra and Hamlet! She and the other apprentices put on an awesome show! It was very entertaining!
And then on Wednesday, she and I went to the Tavern to watch a matinee performance of Julius Ceasar. It was a lovely performance with a conflicted and torn Brutus, an extremely ambitious young Alpha Male Cassius, and a thundering, righteous Antony. A wonderfully entertaining play. It was actually the second time I've seen Julius Ceasar put on by the Tavern, although I saw it several years ago with a much different cast. I enjoyed it greatly both times.
Also on Wednesday, my older brother got the final approval needed for his Masters Thesis. He will be graduating on May 13th from Emory with a Masters in Public Health! I'm so proud of him! And he got the news that the house they had here in Georgia finally sold! And they found a really great little house to rent out in Denver that is within walking distance of the hospital my sister-in-law works at; it has a small fenced in yard for the dogs, and it's across the street from the central park area where the dogs will have even more room to play! Lots of good news for them!
I'm trying my best to get back into tracking my food again... some days I succeed, some I don't.
I am tracking my exercise... I've done 21 miles this week so far!
And I'm definitly counting all of my water!
I don't think I will make my mini goal of 153 by May 1st, but I'll see how close I can get.
Hopefully I'll be able to at least put one gold sticker on my flowchart this week... I'm crossing my fingers and going jogging tomorrow!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
