This week for the Aspire & Inspire team we were asked to blog about "Things that make you smile".
My DH is . He's such a kid and makes me smile or laugh almost every day. A friend of ours made him a super hero redneck outfit. He actually put it on...
We had this friend make one for our other friend too. I have picture of both of them in our old house in Colorado with our dog Thor. Together they Dendrite (our friend), Axon (DH), and Almighty Thor!
My pets also make me smile and happy.
My beloved Pollywog and Daffy Duck. Daffy wanted to go outside with Pollywog.
Chicken Little was playing with a hair band and got it around his neck. He thought it was cool that he had a necklace until he tried to take it off and it kept pulling on the back of his head. DH had to take it off finally.
Pebbles was helping Randy study for a college class.
From left to right, top to bottom. Pebbles, Pollywog and Sarah (mom).
Comet (a.k.a. Snow Peep or just Peep)
The abundance of wildlife here in southern Missouri.
Tree frog that we saw hop. We had a very hard time finding him / her once it hopped!
Also, all of the wild flowers and plants that we see growing alongside the road when we go for our walks.
Blackberry vines grow all over the place here
Carpet moss - it actually feels like carpet!
Mock Orange bushes - they smell heavenly and the bees LOVE it!
Puff ball from Horton Hears a Who - Actually some sort of puff ball that grows on a type of Oak tree
There are lots of other things that make me smile but this blog would be really long and it would take me forever to get the pictures and put them in here.
Love the blog assignment this week, because I'm smiling as I look at/read each one!!! Having pictures adds so much! You sure do have a very cool and crazy hubby...having him in your life every day to laugh and smile together is priceless! Your pet pics are great! I know how much you miss Pollywog (and Pebbles and Sarah, too,) and I'm glad the pics of them bring back the memories and make you smile. Love love love all the wildlife photos you took! They are a reminder to take the time to "stop and smell the roses" each day and smile at all the beauty that surrounds us. Spring is the best for that, I think! 1788 days ago
FREDSEVOLUTION Ha-ha :) Obviously you have a love for life and your DH is very cool. That's so funny!
When I read this I could not help but smile. It was just so cool it reminds me of my oldest son and his fiance. The same kind of fun being themselves:) Very, very cool. Is that a hare? I think that they turn white in winter right? Very cool. 1788 days ago
