Koko Fit Club Challenge For Relay For Life May4th

Friday, April 26, 2013

I want to share that if you have a Koko Fit Club in your area they are coming together to for one day May4th earn 5 million Koko points. If 5 million Koko points are earned then they will donate $20,000 to the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life! There is no cost involved to take part in this challenge all that is needed is your steps either on a treadmill or an elliptical for 15 minutes(500 Koko points). If interested they also throw in 15 days free Koko Fit Club Membership!

I went to the Dr. Wednesday as advised by the ER. She ran more tests and found that I have a significant Urinary Tract Infection and that may be causing my neuropathy to act up. This doesn't make any sense to me at all. I am taking antibiotics now. It has helped with the dizziness that started on Wednesday.

I just talked to my aunt and her Breast Cancer is back after 2 years of being in remission, she is getting a PET scan nest week to see how far it has spread. She will have no surgery this time around and will have to go through chemo this round.

So sorry to hear about your aunt. I am a cancer survivor and my oncologist has told me that the chemo is not so severe in making you feel badly as when I went through it five years ago. I hope that will be true for her. I am still praying for your health and I will pray for your aunt as well. Hang in there! emoticon

There isn't a Koko fitness center here but wish there was.

I'm so sorry about your aunt. I was diagnosed with stage II breast cancer in 2003, and mine came back, to my bones, in 2007, but I am still here, so there is hope!

I hope you feel better soon also, I have had UTIs before and they can make you feel miserable.

That is great what the fit club is doing for Relay for Life. I try to walk in the Survivor Lap when we have our Relay in the fall every year.
