I did pretty well yesterday. I exercised for close to an hour and a half! I was eating really well too. But then I made the mistake of making brownies from the box that I had forgotten about in the back of the pantry. I generally don't bring much junk food into the house. If it's here, I'll eat it. But we do occasionally just go out to the drug store which is very close and buy candy bars for all of us. We justify that it is better to do that than to always have boxes and bags of goodies around. But we've been doing it much too often lately and I told my dh the other night that we just have to cut it out for a while.
Today I walked for 40 minutes. Plenty of hills. It's a beautiful day here so I think I'll go for a bike ride when I'm finished here. I have to work off that PB&j!
Eating towards the very lower end of my range is key to losing weight. And I find that I really have to be meticulous about counting and weighing everything that goes into my mouth.That's how I've lost in the past. I love the recipe calculator here at SP because I tend to make the same foods over and over, so if I take the time to put the recipe into the calculator, it will be there next time.
