Positive Feedback

Friday, April 26, 2013

Ran into a friend I haven't seen in years (like 10) the other day. He complimented me on my weight loss. Last time I saw him I was about 260-270. It was great to see him, but made even better by the compliment.

Been getting a few compliments from my clothes lately as well. I have an old sweater that I wear when I know I'm going to be getting dirty. It was my favorite sweater years ago. Mainly because it was not as tight as other clothes. Anyway, threw it on the other day to change a tire on the truck. It was hanging off me like a kid wearing his dad's clothes.

Another fun experience was trying on the new pants my wife bought me. I've been getting into 36 inch pants lately, but they're a bit tight. So, when I saw the new pants were 36's I thought I'd be dropping several more pounds before they fit comfortably. Put them on this morning. You'd think they were custom tailored for me. They fit awesome!

These weren't planned rewards for accomplishing a goal. They were definitely rewards though!

Keep pushing everyone. Whatever your goals are, you CAN accomplish them. Accomplishing those goals WILL help you accomplish other goals. Whatever struggles you have, you CAN do this. If you start small and keep working you WILL accomplish your goals!!

emoticon Keep up the good work! I can relate to your experience. I recently encouraged my husband to try on new pants at the store and both of us were pleasantly surprised he fit into a smaller size.
