QWLC Prep is over!

Thank goodness! I was so tired of eating 2 saladas a day... I tried to make it a different salad every time, but there is only so much raw veggies I can take! I skipped my dinner on the 3rd day because I felt really crappy, and I couldn't face salad. It turns out I was going thru Carb withdrawal (who would have thought?) so I had a headache and just felt rotten. I went to bed early and slept really well and felt fine this morning. I lost 3.5 pounds in 3 days! Pretty good, I think. Today I start my restricted diet, which after the past few days feels like luxury. The only crappy thing is that I will have my birthday and a couple parties (where I will want to drink) between now and the end of my program. I may have to cheat a little bit. Probably on the drinking. I'll get some liquor only drinks or something. No mixers. And I'll be the DD, just in case. I'm sure there is a good cake-y recipe in the cookbook they gave me at the center. That'll do for my birthday. I went to the Farmer's Market and bought a bunch of stuff for the diet (from a list they gave me). I think I can do this. I am pretty sure they will switch my plan as I go along to add more foods so I can have more variety. I'm excited to lose this weight by James' birthday!
