Yes, I have fought regain before and will fight it again. My lowest weight was 210 down from 460. I've had medicines and surgeries and events and issues and all of life that causes regain. It is not the beginning of the end. You stay with your lifestyle and keep doing the best you can. Hang on like your lifestyle is your security blanket and don't toss it out in the cold in these moments of doubt.
There is no diet wagon to fall off of any more, there is only a journey. Remember that.
I no longer am a slave to regain, thinking that it is the end. It isn't. It is a natural part of life. Weight goes up and it goes down. Our job is to stay in the moment and in the lifestyle. Read everything you can on SparkPeople, I did and do. I also read many health and fitness magazines for information on living a fitter healthier lifestyle.
Then take what tips you like, that which works for you in your life and toss the rest. Designer lifestyle program, presto. Work toward tweaking your lifestyle, not overhauling it, though. Overhauling leads to burnout.
My goal is to get back to 210 and beyond. Will I make it? I have no doubt in my mind!
