Where is the old fitness tracker.

Friday, April 26, 2013

I did go and "hang" out in the water. I went to log my exercise and the stinky new tracker came up. I don't like that new one. Then I saw that they took the old one away. I guess I won't be tracking my exercise anymore. From the comments on the blog by Dave the resident expert, I don't think SP members are too happy.

Here is the blog. It was originally done 2012 but there is an update.

How do you feel about it?

I have been using the new one, but I really don't care for it. While it gives the same info, I find it less user friendly.

Doesn't bother me a bit, and tracking my Favorites is quicker than before. Sometimes when I am resistant to change, I have to take a look at myself and ask whether there is some other reason I am complaining about it.

I'm with you . . . don't like it. Why fix what wasn't broken in the first place!

I was using the old one because I liked it better, but I've already gotten used to the new one. I don't like change a lot, but when there's no choice then I will learn the new one and often end up liking it better.

I'm used to it now; I have all my regular workouts saved as groupings!
What a time saver!

I kept using the old tracker, as I liked it and it worked for me, but guess I have no choice now, so new tracker it is. Wonder if I can still look up my miles and my average mph speed. I liked it telling me how fast an average I had walking or biking, etc.

I've gotten used to the new tracker and I actually like it better. It did take me I little while to make the switch though.

You could always just use the quick tracker on the Start page. I won't give the calorie burn but it does allow you track what you did and how long very easily and you still get the SparkPoints for the minutes.

I don't like the new tracker system either. Not as user friendly. I commented on it on the comment section and there were already 700 negative comments on it. I did put in my exercise but i noticed too that my calories burned were lower than previously even with putting in exactly the same exercise and minutes spent on it.

The old adage "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" applies here.

The new tracker is the same just they switched it up. I know i was confused too at first. When you go to fitness there are 4 options:
Search your exercise , Favorites, Grouping and Mileage . They also have the Map your route still.

I hate when they change stuff because we get used to one way and they switch it up on us.

Anyways i hope this helps. You still can put in your exercises.
