Day 26 of 30 Day Challenge and Day 4 of

So because of the gain yesterday I went back to "The Plan" and did day 3 over....and this morning I am down....1.8 pounds!!!! WOW! This leads me to think that the sushi wasn't so much the problem as it was eating after 8:30 pm.
So I will have to try the sushi again but at a decent hour of the day!

Today on "The Plan" I get to test my bodies reaction to Cheese!
Goat's cheese to be exact! And I love Goats Cheese!

I will try to take some pics of my food, I have just been so busy in the last few days!

Last night's music practice went well, my writer's group meeting yesterday went so well. Did I tell you I am co -authoring a book? So working hard on that this weekend, We are in to the editing stages! ( yeah the fun part! )

and the ladies meeting last night was fun too!
This is the planter we did, we planted it ourselves, and when it starts to grow it is going to full out and be so nice!

( I'm a little challenged when it comes to container gardening! )

    You are such a busy lady Mel and you are doing great.
I had South American churros today and I feel guilty
and my stomach is not very happy with me either.
I can't believe how fast this month has gone. Good luck
with your book and the plan.
I just read the link about the brand name oats and that
was a huge shock. I just buy the home brand oats(not the
quick cooking oats) that I cook myself. I add cinnamon and my
own fruit and low fat milk. I don't even need to sweeten them.
Congratulations on the weight loss. Persistence always pays!

    That is fun and for sure a lot cheaper to make your own flower basket.
Way to keep your eyes on the prize, hope the goat cheese is agreeable.

I have found with my tracking that I am usually okay with carbs and protein, but it is really hard to keep the fat number from exceeding the recommended amount. Then I decided to be careful to not go over in calories and not to worry about the fat if the fat is from a good source and if the carbs and protein are in range. Fat from nuts and avocado and salmon is not the same as fat from ice cream and bakery products.

    I'm all for lowering inflammation!

Her many of her little-reactive choices would likely kill me (now that I've been off them)!

If you don't have actual genetic intolerances or known issues with being unable to digest specific foods, it's a GREAT idea to choose generally anti-inflammatory foods over inflammatory ones. Why not?

    Going well, Mel!
I haven't missed a session at gym this week - though I tried on Monday, and on Wednesday I expected the second session to be cancelled so I really worked hard in the first class. Next class was not cancelled. Yesterday - rest day - I walked the neighbourhood twice - the second time was more of a stroll with my chemo friend.

Food is still not so great although the basics are there - thinking I am going to be cooking for the student and getting a last-minute cancellation is driving me nuts - because it means there's no proper meal for me. I've got a BBQ'd chicken for the weekend - that will solve some of it - bet she'll be in for dinner now!

    Another week gone by...and I'm stuck on the scale. But I did eat bad a few days last weekend, so I probably gained 2 lbs and then lost it later in the week. LOL! Onward...just going to keep pushing!

Have a paper I plan to finish writing for school today so that I can actually relax this weekend. The last few weekends I have been stuck inside with homework while everyone is out playing in the sun. On that note, I best be going.

Doing a Happy Dance for you!! You are doing so well but I knew you would :), We are very similar and it worked like a dream for me.
I got sunburned on my shoulder yesterday - wind and intermittend sun, so I didn't notice - and I'm up another 0.2 today :( Back with the program today after being out for 4 days in a row!
