I am sorry for your troubles. Do your best. Try to eat right and get rest. Don't forget to take that medication as diabetes has many complications as I am sure you know. Fingers crossed that the benefit money will be received soon! I will say some prayers for you. Hang in there. Best always, Shaysie emoticon

Please, please take care of yourself--diabetes can have so many adverse effects on your body when it is not controlled...

I have been in a similar situation when I became unable to work any longer and was trying to get Social Security Disability...we suffered many losses without my income and insurance--home, vehicle, etc...so I do have some idea of what you are going through now. emoticon

I do not know anything about services available in the UK... Others have given you good advice here---1. See your doctor and explain your current situation ASAP. He/she should be able to refer you to a Social Worker or program to assist you with food and your medications--your life depends on it! Check with the churches in your neighborhood-even if you aren't a member, if they don't have a food bank or soup kitchen, they will know where to find help... emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

I am so very sorry that you are going through this situation; I wish I lived near you and could help... You have to be pro-active in taking care of yourself; and, I know you can with your great attitude and sense of humor!! emoticon emoticon emoticon

Stay in touch and let us know how you are doing... Sending out prayers and healing light to you... Brightest Blessings, Pam emoticon emoticon emoticon

This is a really tough situation to be going thru. Good suggestions here to talk to your doctor about samples and check with churches and food pantries or even soup kitchens so you can eat. It is very dangerous for you to be diabetic and without food or medicine. There are many prayers going up that your Benefits will soon be coming to you. Best wishes for a speedy end to your trouble. emoticon

How frustrating. Some drug companies will give discounted or free medicine. Also many doctors give out samples, if you ask. Check into it. emoticon

Wow not good at all. I hope you will find relief soon. In the mean time. I would contact the drug company and the local churches to see if you can find help getting some supplies,

When I was in that kind of a situation I called all the local churches to find out if any offered a food bank type program. It was the way I survived. I hope you get the benefits soon.

If you have any yoga workouts, they really help decrease your stress levels.

You are handling things quite well considering what is going on. I have been jobless now since January but I've been getting little 3 - 5 hours a week here and there so I've been able to barely survive, so I sort of know how hard it can be to be without funds. Keep up the great work!

Wow, that is very stressful. I wish I could tell you how to get things straighten out, unfortunately, I cannot. But I can pray for you.

Do you have any place you can go for food? And do you have any nearby friends that you can visit? I spent one year just being able to afford a quart of milk every 2 weeks. I did not have any near-by friends, so I went to the public library a lot and got lost in the books I read. Also, did some volunteering at the soup kitchens--I was able to get a free meal and be around other people.

My prayers are with you...please visit the Catholic Building Their Temple for God team. I know you will find lots of support there and you sure will get lots of prayers too.

Please, please, please keep me posted.
