So been feeling awesome lately!
237 today and I feel great!
roughly 40lbs down since this time last year
Running has been amazing
Last week I started myself on week 2 of my outdoor 5k training program, but this week I decide to promote myself to week 5.. It was hard, but I handled it.. even went a little longer than I was supposed too (mostly because I didn't find a good halfway point so I was farther from home than I should have been when my running/walking intervals were over..
So I ran the rest of the way..
I love stretching outside in front of my porch afterwards, I love running with my head up and making eye contact with others, I love the long strides my legs take, I love the encouragement I feel from my husband and son when daddy says "look at your momma, she's doing great watch her run!" and I love love LOVE looking down and seeing my huge, STRONG thighs sway back and forth with every thud to concrete.
Just wish I could get my breathing in check! I'm trying to train myself to be a nose breather, and I just cant keep it up. Short shallow breaths are what I'm used to and I know I feel better when I take deep long breaths. I'll get it sooner or later.
