The airport situation turned in to a C result. Yesterday I was out of town and I would be at the airport around the time I would usually have lunch. I hadn't made a plan for lunch - so I was going to have to wing it.
I located a grocery store and walked the aisle trying to find something I could eat that would not be high in calories. Couldn't think of anything. Saw the Deli and thought I'd get a sandwich - of course the server was so slow and there were 2 persons (including the person being served) ahead of me. So I did not have time to wait. I got a big bottle of water and left the store - headed to the airport. Checked-in only to be told the flight was going to be an hour late.

so I have to now chose between the convenience store or the take away store. I choose fried chicken wings and french fries and a glass of wine.
. Feeling bad but satisfied - I settled in to wait for the flight, only to learn it is delayed another hour. We'll in my head I saw myself visiting the convenience store and getting some chocolate and potato chips and nuts and a soda. In reality, I struck up a conversation with some other disgruntle passengers and eventually read a book.
On arrival home, I headed straight to the gym. This was the day to do cardio (last week i did the spinning class). I started on the stair stepper. I was buggin' out after 2 mins. So I convinced myself to complete 5 mins. Then I'd do 5 mins on the elliptical, treadmill, bike and incumbent bike. I didn't have any music or a book to read, so I was struggling to do these machines and decided I'd have to make it interesting. I did each machine twice for 5 minutes. Headed home and had some Taco Soup I'd made from one of the recipes on SparkPeople. It was really good. I manged to stay within calorie goal - gave the chicken wings and fries - 840 calories.
