I planted a corneal of good corn and ..........???
A good return? Well! It may depends on what I did when planting.
Normally to Plant a seed, I would get a good return.
When i was a child i was working in the family garden.
I had good seed but i was getting tired of planting the seed.
At the end of one role i planted a hand full of the seed just to get it done.
I knew it was wrong but i wanted to go play.
In time the good seeds took root and came up just were i had planted them.
The seed was good but the results were of my own doing.
It grieves me to think of the things in life i have wasted
because at the time i had wanted my own way.
Our sins are against God; no matter how big or small the sin.
As Christians how do we handle sins that bring bad fruit.
Prayer and repentance. Asking of forgiveness of God always.
Plant into a life of someone kindness, and goodness and see what kind of return you get.
3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. K.J.V. in Public Domain
I have chosen to let God be my Savior, my advocate and my help.
I chose to plant in my life NOW kindness, forgiveness, tenderheartedness and i am broken easy by any fault that might cause another pain. Life is short and eternity forever. I will sew seeds of kindness and goodness and by God great mercy and Grace reap the same. God bless you!
15 that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life. 16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God."
God forgives, Saves, heals and restores.
Yet! Some of those seeds were not good seeds sewed.
Bad chooses; producing bad fruit. Regents we all have them.
What to do with them.
Oh to go back and take back a unkind word or deed.
To go back and ask forgiveness when one could have.
Not to have blinders on that keep one from seeing the danger one was in.
I pray daily that the Lord will remove any blinders, any strongholds from my eyes, ears, heart or life.
Isiah 1: 18 "Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. K.J.V. in Public Domain
Have you ever read how David prayed over his sins? Psalms 51
Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.
4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.
5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
15 O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.
16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.
17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
18 Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem.
19 Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar. K.J.V. in public domain
Romans 12: 1-2, 21
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. K.J.V. in Public Domain
