So, 7 months ago today, I made a decision that would change my life. I made the decision that I would do what it took to lower my cholesterol and get to a healthy weight. I had no idea how I would do it, so I turned to Google and researched how to lower cholesterol. I included as many of those foods in my diet as I could, but I realized I needed a way to track it, so I googled food trackers and SparkPeople popped up. I haven't looked back since. SparkPeople has given me the support, motivation, and resources that I needed to lower the cholesterol and lose some of my excess weight. I had not idea how difficult it would be, because I have never stuck with anything this long. But, one thing that I know for sure is that whatever sacrifices I have had to make, has been totally worth it in the long run.
I am no longer worried about quitting. Quitting is not an option. I will reach my healthy weight (whatever that may be) and maintain because I have made life changes, not just gone on a diet. I still struggle nearly every day with food choices, but exercise has become second nature to me. I have learned to rely on you, my friends, instead of food when I am upset or need comforting. I have learned that I am capable of a lot more than I thought! What a difference 7 months have made!

Praise Moves at the church tonight was wonderful. It felt so good to stretch all those muscles that I have been working so hard on all week! I am all relaxed and ready for bed. Hoping that scale moves down a little in the morning.
