So, another diet checked off my list! I did Weight Watchers and through this week I looked in the mirror and said "not for you." I loved a lot of the aspects of the program and it may really work for some people.
For me, carbs are the enemy. They trigger all KINDS of cravings and HUNGER in me. When I was doing low carb.... I was NEVER hungry. Everyday I stay within my points I'm starving. And yes, I'm eating good and healthy meals. Sugar is also a real issue, even in natural forms it causes me to feel hungry and generally not good.
SO, I've got to dance with the one that brought me. I lost 40 pounds on low carb and didn't gain any back when I got off of it to explore. I tried being vegetarian... um no. I tried counting calories.... I was left hungry and with all kinds of triggered cravings. The only things that has left me feeling good and stable is low carb. So, enough of trying everything that hasn't worked for me and back to doing something that did work for me.
I hate the people that say "I'm going to start...." when you should start ASAP. Unfortunately my pantry is not stocked for low carb right now. I will give it a go tomorrow if I can find enough in house and make a grocery trip after work. No more playing around... haha :)
