When you pray for rain...

...take an umbrella.
Last week my sister had surgery because they found a tumor in her pancreas. Worse case scenario was pancreatic cancer which has an extremely poor prognosis. The night before her surgery she gathered with friends, family and a pastor at the church she attends for a healing prayer circle. Many awesome and strong prayers were offered in her behalf. Also, I asked nearly everyone I knew and a few people I didn't know to pray for her as she went through this. On Monday I happened to be in her hospital room when the surgeon came in to tell her about the pathology report. The tumor was IN her pancreas, but it wasn't pancreatic cancer! It was in a bile duct that was in her pancreas!
I know that had absolutely nothing to do with exercise or weight loss, but more than likely if she had not lost weight the doctors wouldn't have suspected the tumor or been able to find it.
I celebrated the good news by sleeping in the next day. Strange, huh? Not if you consider that I hadn't had a decent night sleep since Easter!
