She posted this to her Facebook page today:
This past month I have learned something. Something that I already knew, I just needed to hear it from a mouth other than my own. You are truly stronger than excuses. To me this means get off your lazy butt and do something. I am taking charge of my life. I refuse to sit around and wish I was thin/healthy. As of yesterday I am getting in shape. I will lose 100 pounds by next may and all you guys are going to hold me accountable. Because I am posting this online for everyone to see, you guys will expect to see results. This means a lot to me to be healthy and you should feel the same. You truly are stronger than excuses. Yesterday I ran/walked a mile and a half and it hurt. I have put my body through hell the past 18 years but no more will I be the fat girl. You will see! So to all you people who can't make time for exercise or things of that nature, you are just letting those excuses kill you. Get off of your butt and do something before it is too late. It's going to hurt like hell but just think, This will be the best thing you have ever done. When you don't think you can do that means go faster, when you "have to stop" that means keep going......YOU ARE STRONGER THAN EXCUSES!!!!! Take charge of you life, no longer will you body control you, you will control your body."
She got a lot of encouragement from family and friends for being an inspiration. I'm going to share a daily motivation with her from Spark and send an invitation.
