I worked an extra hour today, am very tired now, BUT I got good news in the mail!
I won $50 in the CD drawing at the credit union again! I won it once last year too.

The deal is: Deposit a minimum $25 into your CD(one Year) each week as an entry into a drawing. I just deposit $100 at the beginning of each month. Each month they select one winner for $50. At the end of the year, they draw two names from all of the credit unions that participated, for $10,000. They also draw names for $1,000 twice for . I can win as many times as they pick my name! Fifty dollars does not seem like a lot of money to some, BUT it is like getting a GREAT interest rate for the CD.
I just signed the press release and they have deposited the $$ into my savings account.. like getting two more free entries into the drawings!

The $$ goes towards my emergency fund.

We never could belong to a credit union till recently . You had to be employed by certain corporations or churches, just a year or so ago they have opened them up to the public.
I always thought they were a great idea. Well done for your smart money sense. HUGS Pat in Maine.
